7 Easy Steps for the Best Dubai Chocolate Strawberries (Viral Recipe!)
If you’ve seen the viral Dubai Chocolate Bar taking over TikTok and Instagram, you know the obsession is real. But if you’re looking for a fresher, fruitier way to enjoy that iconic pistachio crunch, these Dubai Chocolate Strawberries are the answer.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe
The texture of these strawberries is incredible: you get the snap of the chocolate shell, the juiciness of the fruit, and the world-famous crunch of the Knafeh filling. It’s a decadent, bite-sized dessert that looks professional but is surprisingly easy to make at home. Plus, it’s a guaranteed conversation starter!
Ingredients Notes & Substitutions
To get that authentic “Dubai Bar” flavor, use high-quality Pistachio Cream and Kataifi Pastry. You can find Kataifi in the frozen section of Middle Eastern grocery stores. If you want a less sweet version, swap the milk chocolate for a high-quality dark chocolate (70% cocoa).

Expert Tips for the Perfect Crunch
The “Bone-Dry” Rule: The biggest mistake is dipping damp berries. After washing your strawberries, pat them dry with a paper towel and let them air dry for at least 30 minutes. If there is any moisture, the chocolate will slide right off!

Don’t Burn the Kataifi: Keep your pan on medium heat and stir constantly. You want a deep, nutty golden brown color. Once stuffed, pop your strawberries in the freezer for 10 minutes before dipping—it helps the chocolate set instantly.
How to Store Dubai Chocolate Strawberries
These are best enjoyed the same day to keep that signature crunch. If you have leftovers, keep them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Note that the filling may soften slightly over time as it absorbs moisture from the fruit.

To get that world-famous “Dubai crunch,” make sure you use authentic Knafeh pastry (also known as Kataifi). If you are new to working with this ingredient, you can learn more about its traditional uses and textures on Wikipedia’s guide to Middle Eastern pastries, which explains why it stays so crispy when toasted with butter. Proper technique is key to making these Dubai Chocolate Strawberries taste exactly like the original version!
Why this Viral Treat is the Ultimate Dessert
The beauty of Dubai Chocolate Strawberries lies in the perfect marriage of textures. You have the snap of the high-quality chocolate, the juicy explosion of the fresh strawberry, and that iconic, loud “crunch” from the buttery knafeh. Since this trend started in Dubai, food lovers around the world have been trying to recreate that specific mouthfeel. By using strawberries instead of a heavy chocolate bar, you get a refreshing twist that feels much lighter but just as indulgent.
When preparing your Dubai Chocolate Strawberries, focus on the quality of your chocolate. Since the strawberry is naturally sweet, a dark chocolate with at least 60% cocoa provides a sophisticated balance to the creamy pistachio filling. This is a dessert that appeals to all senses: it looks like a piece of art with its gold leaf or green drizzle, it smells like toasted nuts, and the sound of the first bite is pure satisfaction.
If you are planning to serve these at a party, remember that presentation is everything. Lining them up on a marble tray makes them look like they came straight from a luxury boutique in Dubai. They are not just a snack; they are a conversation starter that brings the most viral food trend of the year directly to your kitchen table!
