Ingredients
The Cheese & Base:
1net of Babybel cheese (6β12 pieces)
1/2cup All-purpose flour
2large eggs
The Spicy Crunch:
1bagFlamin' Hot Cheetos
1/2tspGarlic powder (Optional)mix this into the flour
For Cooking:
Cooking spray for Air Fryer
Method
Prep Cheetos: Place the Hot Cheetos in a food processor or a Ziploc bag and crush them until they become fine crumbs. Transfer to a shallow bowl.
Bread Station: Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with the beaten eggs, and one with the crushed Cheeto crumbs.
The Double Coat (Secret for Success):Remove the wax from the Babybels.Coat each cheese in flour, then dip in the egg wash.Roll in the Cheeto crumbs.Repeat: Dip back into the egg wash and then into the Cheeto crumbs again. This double coating ensures the cheese doesn't leak out!
Freeze: Place the coated Babybels on a tray and freeze for at least 30β45 minutes. This is the most important step to prevent the cheese from exploding before the crust is crispy.
Cook:Air Fry: Spray with a little oil. Cook at 400Β°F (200Β°C) for 4β5 minutes, turning halfway through.
Serve: Serve immediately while hot and stretchy. Pairs perfectly with cool Ranch dressing or a drizzle of honey.
