Ingredients
The Dough
6Babybel cheese wheels wax removed
65gramsAll-purpose flour
2large eggsbeaten
100gramsPanko breadcrumbs for maximum crunch
Seasoning
5gramsGarlic powder
2gramsDried oregano
2gramsSalt
1gramsBlack pepper
Olive oil spray or cooking spray
Method
Prep Station: Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with the beaten eggs, and one with the Panko mixed with all seasonings.
Bread the Cheese: Dip a Babybel in flour (shake off excess), then in egg, and finally coat it in the seasoned Panko.
The Double Coat: Dip the breaded Babybel back into the egg wash and then once more into the Panko. This creates a thick shell to prevent leaks.
Freeze: Place the coated cheeses on a tray and freeze for 30–45 minutes. Essential step to stop the cheese from exploding!
Air Fry: Pre-heat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Spray the basket and the cheese bites lightly with oil.
Cook: Air fry for 5–7 minutes. Keep an eye on them; remove as soon as they turn golden brown.
Serve: Serve immediately with your favorite dip (Marinara, Ranch, or even Hot Honey).
